It is therefore desirable to provide a folded valentine gift that can be easily stuffed into a box or envelope, and that can be easily assembled for sale in a store.. The results of our study are mainly in line with the study of Burrows et al. ([@B8]) and Louw et al. ([@B20]), which have indicated that improved levels of perceived team effectiveness and reduced sickness absence, turnover and staff absence were linked to the implementation of OD. This was particularly related to the implementation of quality improvement interventions. Compared to control teams, OD teams had a higher level of internal cognitive performance and lower levels of external cognitive performance. A possible explanation could be that the implementation of the OD approach led to a higher level of understanding of important aspects of the job and to a more reflective approach, which was reflected in their performance on tasks and assignments ([@B4], [@B29]). The implementation of OD teams also led to higher levels of teamwork, cooperation, team development and problem-solving, which in turn could explain the lower levels of sickness absence and the turnover of health workers. Compared to control teams, OD teams had lower levels of absenteeism and in turn lower levels of sickness absence and turnover. This confirms earlier findings by Louw et al. ([@B20]), who found that OD implementation was associated with a reduced turnover intention and a decreased rate of absenteeism of health workers. Moreover, our findings also indicated that the implementation of OD teams led to a significantly higher level of *job satisfaction*, which is in line with the findings of Louw et al. ([@B20]) and Burrows et al. ([@B8]) and can be explained by the social and professional benefits resulting
